Today is the 1st anniversary of Life as a Bonded. It still feels like yesterday! One year and 100+ itch.io downloads later, I want to do a bit of a retrospective.

I worked on Lune & Ran’jit’s story from 2022 to 2024. I didn't expect to write a whole-ass fanfic about Ran'jit when he became my hyperfixation, but the ideas started coming way before I dabbled in writing (something I haven't done since High school). It rekindled my passion for art and storytelling, and dedicating so much time to something (or someone) greater than myself was fulfilling.

I initially designed a print version for personal use, but decided to make an online e-book version for fun. I didn’t expect this many downloads. Thank you!

Also I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the few who donated. I can't monetize a fanfic, so your tips are the highest honor to me. 😭❤️

Although I moved on, LAAB serves as a blueprint for my Lune/Baron Donovan project*. I'm still drafting things, but I'll show you what's coming around late June/July. [redacted] is set in a different world with a different storyline, but is similar to LAAB in some aspects. Even certain characters are making a comeback (not Ran'jit though, sorry :c).

In conclusion, LAAB will always have that special place in my heart.
